Is Marine land White diamond blend good for planed aquariums? The white diamond blend is the white ammonia chips mixed with active carbon. If it henders plant growth what is an alternative? I have a Magnum 350 on a 56 tall.

well i don't think it would hinder it (but i'm no expert) and i know people argue about whether the carbon removes nessicasy nutrients. but most peole do not use carbon on planted tank because it's just not needed that much.
and alternative to carbon is seachems purgen. the think with that is it can be recharged but it need a special bag so the balls don't escape (thay are really really small)
