I have had a BTA for a little while and is hosted by a maroon clown. Just yesterday I noticed he deflated and looked like goo on the rock. There was some brown stringy stuff coming out. This morning it is back to normal. Is this a behavior they do, or might it not be happy?

They expel wastes regularly, especially when fed. It's normal--the only thing to watch for is some fish take a liking to this 'goo', and will aggressively attack it, sometimes harming the anemone, or getting caught by it.
