Ok i am a newbie aquatic fiend! I just started getting fish about 1month ago and found this site that has helped me with so much stuff. Thx AquariaCentral and all the forum users for all your help!! Ok i started off with a 20 Gallon High Tank that i recieved from my mother when i got my new house. I was going to get a Python but here in Delaware you have to have a permit to house snakes now cause so many have gotten loose over the past few years and one actually got ahold of a small child and a few house pets. So that was out of the question so i went to my LFS to check out some of their fish. The LFS is called "Koi Kountry" and me and my girlfriend walked in and instantly 2 Albino Oscars caught our eyes. So them and a Violet Goby were my starter fish for my 20gallon High. I thought that since i have had alot of help i would post up some pics of the 3 tanks that i own now. 20gallon high with 7 piranhas that i got when they were about the size of a penny maybe a nickel. A 10g that is my girlfriends tank that we have just moved the Violet Goby over to with 3 painted Tetra and a Tinfoil Barb that i got for 99c cause he is deformed as you will be able to see in the pics. We went to a local Auction just riding around on a Saturday coming home from the Beach and i am guessing it is a 30gallon maybe a 40 gallon that now holds the 2 Albino Oscars.

Ok on with the Pics.

This is my 20gallon High that i turned over to a sand tank. Had to wait a few days for it to filter clean.

Well...nice....

Not really a fish room kinda more a spare bedroom that me and my GF have been working on lol i had to take the dresser out of my room to sit the 10g on but that is ok i would rather that junky old dresser be in the trash but it was given to me cause we didnt have to much considering that we just moved here not that long ago and didnt have to much to work with. Army calls you go.

Lol Monsters? I know the piranhas will end up pretty aggressive but what else? like i said i am new to this i just bought them cause my girlfriend kinda wanted the oscars and them ugly fish (Painted Tetra)

I wanted the Piranhas but we had to get a place to special order them for me. BTW are we allowed to own Super Red Arowana?

You have some really beautiful fish (except the Painted tetras, they are tattooed and it is painful and causes poor health: http://www.deathbydyeing.org/moreau.htm). If you want to keep them all happy and healthy, I'd start shopping Craigslist now for big tanks.

Yup monsters, most of the fish get big and need a way bigger tank. But since you are just starting out and they all are small im not going to bust your chops lol
Just for the future look into getting a 55g+ tank for the oscars and something bigger for the piranhas. Especially since you got 7 of them you would need a tank thats 100-150g+ probably. But since they are still small enjoy them.
