As I'm sure many of you already know from the dozen or so posts of mine over the past week (so ignorant, so sad lol :perv:), I'm going to be planting my 15gal at the end of this week.

The tank itself is cycled. I'm planning on using the same substrate that is in there right now, although I'm going to put a layer of Schultz underneath what I have (however thick 10lb of Schultz will get me).

I don't have a whole lot of places to put the fish I already have in the tank, though (check sig for what fish). How long should I wait before putting them back in the tank? Do the plants need some "time alone," so to speak, or can the fish go in right away?

thanks :grinyes:

what do you mean by slowly...like over a couple weeks time? Is this just so in case something does go wrong you don't lose everyone or does the tank have to recycle.

lol sorry, when i said slowly i meant that same day. I said slowly because once again you have to acclimate the fish to the new tank conditions.

oh...lol. yea, don't want to shock them (temp and ph and all that :grinyes:)

ok cool.

hope not, tank just finished cycling lol

Here's what I'm adding:
[FONT=&quot]Rotala Indica (Rotala roundifolia)
Dwarf Clover (Marsilea quadrifolia)
Giant Wendtii, Red (Cryptocoryne wendtii) (pot)
Nana (Anubias barteri v. ‘Nana’)
Telanthera Rosefolia (Alternanthera reineckii)

hoping there's not too much red in there :perv:. we'll see how it turns out

We'll see :grinyes:. I'm itching to play with it all but I've got work all week so it's going to have to wait until Friday night or Saturday :silly:

And of course I'll keep you all posted on how it's going (just gotta find that dang camera! - again lol)

I'm looking foward to pics as well! I am thinking of ordering some Rotala Indica for my Indian biotope 10g but I am a bit nervous because it is supposed to grow so fast
