I appear to have only one female white cloud in a group of ten. She looks like a real fatty, and she has separated herself from the group, choosing instead to hang out in the corner where the cories eat. She's not scrounging for food, as she's not actively picking at the substrate (there's plenty of food there, and she's flat-out ignoring it). She's just flitting around an inch or so above it, then swimming up, flitting, then back down. Doesn't matter where the school goes, she rarely joins them.
Why she do this.

I can't help you with the mysterious behavior, but I have a white cloud that is also immensly fat in my pond, and I think it is also because they are gravid.

White clouds are easy to breed and are most often likely to carry eggs. Any pics of that fish?

Impossible. I don't know how they take stock photos of white clouds; they move too fast.

Try a camera that captures constantly moving objects well. I forgot what brand my sister's camera is otherwise I'd recommend it. It's Nikon I think. Will repost unless someone catches up to me.

All I have is a dooftastic Kodak. It usually gets the job done, but agh what do I know about cameras.
Just take a regular streamlined minnow and give it a Tarantino-esque big, round pot-belly.
