I got new lights (after the old ones started a small fire) and now my plants are pearling, the only problem is that its the green algae on the drift wood that is pearling like I have an air hose connected to it (them?). Just wanted to see if anyone else has had pearling algae?

My algae pearls a lot too, both the black and green stuff on my driftwood.

Ive noticed that algae will start to pearl a LOT faster than plants.
