Hi all ...
i have a very beautifell and smart betta , and i just wanted to take a pic from him , but as he saws the camera he terrified like i never seen before , i didn t even turned on the camera ,,, he was jumping all over the tank and wanted to run away trough the glass just like he had an heart attack :( ... he was afraidin for a few minutes and didn t move that much :( , but now he got better , and come to see me when i go over his tank , any body knows why he terrified that much ?
he was always enjoyin watchin new things , he loves watchin clips on my mobile ! but these time i have no idea , anybody have any ?

Sounds like he got a fright ! Did you ever show him a scary clip on your mobile ?? Maybe he was having flashbacks ! Maybe you approached the tank too suddenly. I advise that you sneak up on him from now on, really slowly, to avoid startling him. From now on show him only peaceful and happy clips.

Test your parameters for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate with a good liquid drop test kit to make sure your water is good. Ammonia and Nitrite must be 0. Nitrate must be less than 40.

HI glad to see u here too ,and thanks for reply , i don think the problem is water cuz he s so active now :) and before the accident , as the matter of fact i wasn t show him happy clips it was some metal music headbanging clip :P ... any way , i tried to take a shot with my mobile , and he was just like enjoyin it ! , he standin and watch my mobile for a few minutes , any way i took a pic and i ll put it here soon ,but i ll try to sneak up slowly on him and take a pic with my camera lata :)

Good to see you here as well ! Sounds like he is good as new :)

Perhaps he does not like heavy metal. Try him on some Neil Diamond.

Neil Diamond ? :) lol , i don think he s goin to like them , he s a metal head :headbang2:
Here he s ( sorry for the quality , it s my mobile cam :( ) :

My goodness what a lovely blurry betta. The background really makes him pop :)

Any chance of a full tank shot ?

I would try putting the camera nearby (but not too near) and leave it sit for awhile. Once he seems acclimated to its location, move it a little closer. Eventually you'll be able to get it right up to the tank and he should be stress free.

Btw, that's hilarious that you show him mobile clips-- I love it!

whattttt a beautifulll black betta :) i love it :) ... mine still afraidin from cam ... :( just run away from it ... i ll not try it again , at least not these days , he doesn t wanna take a pic :(
