I want to raise them for my little convicts. I heard brine shrimp lives in salt water, So how was I suppoe to put the brine shrimp into the fish tank, without causing my fishes to die. And where do I acquire Daphnia and Brine Shrimps, I can't seem to find any.

Brine shrimp are typically raised in a separate container from the fish, netted and rinsed in FW before feeding. Many LFS sell brine shrimp eggs, and some will sell adult brine shrimp as well. There are also numerous online resources for purchasing brine shrimp eggs and hatchery kits.

artemia (brine shrimp) are cultured in 2L coke bottles turned upside down and bases cut off. use a fine mesh screen to collect the artemia and dip in a jar of fresh water then feed to your fish.

good luck

Search for a Brine Shrimp Hatchery on Big Al's, that's what I use for my convicts. All you do is add salt and eggs, (which you can also get at Big Al's,) and an air pump.

Big Al's is at www.bigalsonline.com (make sure you type the www)
