while i was sitting by my tank and watching the shrimps play... i noticed on the glass that there was something tiny moving.. as i looked closer. it looks like theyre worms... tiny little thing just wriggling from one side to another. theyre real tiny. cant really take pics of it since my camera sucks and i dont think it can take pics of something that small. just wondering if anyone know anything about it ? if theyre bad/good? theyre really tiny and white thats the only thing i can observe.

my tank is a 10 gal. with various shrimps (cherry, glass, and tiger), 4 cardinal tetras, red claw crab, 4 panda corys, an otto, and a buncha snails... it is also lightly planted.

im thinkin it couldve came from the holy rock i just put in the tank for the shrimps.

help please. thank you

Planaria Worms. They are harmless and the fish can even eat them as a snack. If you want them dead, water changes are a must. They do not pose a threat to your aquarium so no worries. Have you been overfeeding lately?

They're planaria. Their presence is a result of inadequate water changes/tank maintenance and overfeeding. They won't harm your fish but that indicates you need to improve your maintenance.

I'm surprised your shrimp aren't eating the worms. Add 2 more otos, they like to be in groups of at least 3.
