ok so ive decided to start an EBJD breeding project and if im unable to find a female jack carrying the blue gene i will have to do it the hard way and breed an EBJD with a Regular, then i get a blue gene jack that i can trade. but how do i tell what ones are normal and what one are blue gene as there fry?

B = dominant (standard) color b= recessive (electric blue) color

. B . B
b. Bb . Bb

b. Bb . Bb

all fry from a pairing of standard jack with EB jack will be blue-gene fish

the periods are an attempt to keep the spacing correct, nothing to do with genetics.
