I can't sleep so I flicked the 65w 50/50 on the 120g and fired off some shots. :)

All shots taken with a sony DSC-P41, that literally looks like it's falling apart. Imagine what I'll do with a DSLR once I save enough for one :)

The Tavern is the spot under the large driftwood in my tank. It has the most space and it seems like that's where the large bichirs are most of the time.

This has to be the most adorable polli ever!

Hopefully sunday bro, I have to trim the plants, and plant all the floaters.

I sold a lot of bichirs over this past week and a lot of stuff got uprooted so I got lazy and planted a lot of stuff wherever until the weekend when I'll have a chance to do it right.

Great looking BGK! Did I miss what kind of substrate is in that tank?

...Did I miss what kind of substrate is in that tank?

Other than 'smooth elliptical gravel' I don't really know.

I got lucky one day when I was checking out a bunch of LFS's with a friend of mine (jenna_san_22), I saw an interesting bag of very muddy looking gravel. It piqued my curiosity because out of all the gravels on the pallet (all from the same company), it was the only one that looked muddy on the inside. I got a closer look and could see the perfectly smooth elliptical shape of the gravel and loved it right away.

When I opened the bags it smelled like saltwater mixed with a very earthy smell that was very pleasant.

Anyways, here are pics of the bag the gravel came in. The store hasn't gotten any in stock since (a month ago) but I keep looking.

It's labled 'dreaming sand', I think that's the company name, but this is definitely my dream substrate haha
