I was at my local Petco recently and I saw a really interesting fish that I wanted to learn more about (so that perhaps I could purchase it at a later date). Well, I asked the department's employee and he said it was a loach. It didn't look like any of the other loaches at the store and it didn't have a scientific name underneath the tag parenthetically like a lot of the other fish did. It just said "loach". It looked like a hagfish in appearance, except a little darker in coloring. Does anyone know what this might be?
