Is this red leg or not, my one white's tree frog just died about an hour ago and for the last couple days before she died she was real bloated and yesterday and today she looked like she wasn't breathing that great. I just came in a couple minutes ago and found her bright blue colored and dead. The male she was with seems to be doing fine. I looked at his legs and they are light pink but I've always seen them like that. Could This Possibly be red leg. I took him out and wiped off the glass with a mild bleach solution and wiped him down with a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide/water mix. Any help is urgently needed.

I am so sorry!! I have a WTF too and I can't imagine how you must feel. I can help you find out what happended too him if you like. You said she was bloated? That is definetly a sign of red leg. Another huge sign of red leg is listlessness or not eating. Was she exhibiting any of those symptoms?

So that's what WTF stands for. Hydrogen peroxide turns into regular water and Oxygen after about 2 minutes of being swabbed onto skin.

Yea she was very lazy she didn't even climb she just sat on the aquarium floor and looked like she was have trouble breathing, the day before though she ate decently. The male that was with her seems allright, he has a pinkish tint to the top of his thighs but thats the way hes been since I've gotten him.

Do you know how old she was? It could have just been old age. More than likely though it is probably just a mild, but deadly case of red leg.

I have no idea how old she was but the male just started croaking about 6 months ago and I got them both at the same time and they were both the same size when I got them.
