Hi guys!
First, I would like to know your opinions about what light color is best for the colors of mbunas, according to your experiences: 50 daylight/ 50 actinic blue, all actinic, etc.
Also, I would like to know for how many hours you should have the tank's lights on; considering the algae growth possibility.
As always, your comments are really appreciated. Thanks! :)

I use the 50/50 reef sun bulb on my tank, actinic only would be too blue, mbuna are low maintenance as far as lighting goes (you can have regular room lights on sometimes and they'll be fine), it's all a preference of a keeper. I keep my lights on anywhere from 3-5 hours each day.

We use the 50/50 bulbs also, about 8 hours a day....:)

regular shop lights here or 50/50...

a blue tint is said to bring out more colour, visually. Personally I don't liike that look thought, and would go for a natural light set upl

Regular bulbs and about 8 hours per day.
