There is another delay in getting the new female bettas. So it looks like the fighting bettas will have to be isolated or endure each other another week?.
Backstory:
I made plans last Thursday to pick them up on the following Thursday. Yahoo lost the email. By Sunday, my car is possibly needed to go to the Adirondacks. There is currently only one working car in my immediate family as the other one has break failure issues.
So I send a new email out with the next current plans, which are now to go with shipping which I had planned if I couldn't make it to pick them up this time. The breeder can't ship on the most convenient days when I am home. Can ship Thursday so they arrive Friday, except if there is a delay/problems they might not arrive until Saturday.
Which is bad, because I'll be gone for the weekend.
The two female bettas are like; let's play tag, you're it *bites*. Then one hides behind the filter for a while. Of course I didn't plan on what to do next, since my plan was getting more female bettas so they would stop fighting.
I have to say...this is betta keeping at it's most irritating.
So now I'm trying to reseal a leaky 2 gal tank for another isolation tank.
