That sucks.. wonder if they even planned for such a day, actually i dont wonder.. they didnt and they can only blame themselves..
Ehh reason why i hate reading some newspapers/online papers..
Lauren O'Danovich said, "I was absolutely shocked. I couldn't believe it. It's horrible that something could happen like this."
Kristen Kalina said, "I think that's something that's pretty terrible. I mean, for something like that to happen to all those stingrays. … Those poor animals."
Sunni Brinley said, "I had no idea that the stingrays had gone. That's sad."
Dave Piper said, "It's too bad that they lost the stingrays. It's a wonderful part of the exhibit."
ppl say alot of things..

The exhibit is closed while Brookfield Zoo staff investigate what caused the life-support system to malfunction. Yeakle said the equipment was being "re-engineered" to prevent the tank from overheating again. It had a back-up generator to power a cooling unit, but the voltage never dropped low enough to kick it on, he said.
They just need a $2.00 aquarium thermometer and some to look at it!

Exactly and a staff member to check the animals, I wonder if anyone took notice and wondered why the stingrays were skimming the surface?

That sucks. They SHOULD have temperature alarms in place, it's pretty standard in public displays from my understanding.
