15 gal community tank.

2 Platy's ( male and female )
1 female betta
1 bristlenose catfish ( too small to sex at the moment )
1 Unidentified 2 inch Cichlid I was told it will grow to about 4 - 5 inches. Iv found out its a pink convict cichlid!!

This is my first warm water setup can anyone see any potential problems here?

The only thing im thinking i if the cichlid grows too fast he might eat the baby bristlenose.

Can you post some pics of the cichlid, maybe we can identify it for you?

Iv found out its a pink convict cichlid.!! Apparently these can get pretty big. I might have a problem I think ill wait and see how it goes. Ill provide some more hide holes for the bristlenose and hope for the best as they grow.

I'd worry more about the cichlid attacking the female betta or the platies.

The cichlid needs to go. It will cause problems sooner or and will outgrow the tank in a hurry. Maybe you can get the store where you bought it to give you some credit for it.
