They are not free swiming yet, but they are developing well. The parents do a good job of keeping them hurded together. Once this morning i thought the father had eaten them but then he spit them where he wanted them to be.

Just thought i would share this exciting news.

start hatching the bbs now ;)

good luck

Very cool. Mine have spawned 3 times, but no hatching. I'm jealous.

That is great news. I would not get too excited yet. There are many things that can go wrong in the early life stages but a diligent effort can prevent almost all of them. Each time they spawn you will learn more. It's an exciting yet daunting process but you will get better at it as you gain experience. Keep a journal as you go so you can hev references to what worked for you and what did not.

Yes, start hatching the baby brine shrimp now. Start a new batch every day. There are many placed to reference a procedure for this. BBS encourages great growth. After they are about two weeks old you can start introducing otgher foods.

Best of luck and I hope you have a wonderful experience.

Charlie

Congrats, thats pretty cool when the parents actually help raise their fry.

thank you all :)

GREAT!!!
We agree with Charlie, don't panic its pretty simple to raise the fry if you are willing to maintain the Water changes and don't over feed . We feed 5-7 times a day in small amounts . Remove any un eaten food within 30 min .
We do 50 -90% water changes daily to maintain pristine water.
This is very important for the little one as their immune system is just starting to develop.
