my husband has forced me to get rid of my segragated snail tank. boo. now i have those little snails in a small breeder net inside my main tank. I am alittle sad cause I had eggs in the 2.5 gallon snail tank, I took a chance and moved them to the net, does anyone have anything to say about that? Do you think they will still hatch or are they lost?
Oh they love the zuccini thanks for the help with that! Can I successfully have a snail breed in a small breeder net? Any suggestions i would really appriciate it! Thanks!

p.s. how can I clean that net without hurting any eggs or snails? I am afraid to vac.

Pond snails lay in the water - Mystery snails (Apple snails) lay above the water line.

Only pond snails lay eggs in sacs. Mystery snails lay clusters which are found above the water line. They're even larger in size than the pond snail sacs.

how come the snails lay the eggs above the water line?

Maybe they didn't lay above the water line but close to the water line and water evaporated and caused them to be above the water line. An idea.

And no mystery snail eggs and pond snail eggs look nothing alike.
Mystery Eggs are pinkish in a clump that you can see the individual eggs clustered together above the water.
Pond Snails/E. Ramshorns/Giant Ramshorns all lay jelly clumps that tend to form individual white specks or eggs inside the jelly under the water.
