Tell me what you think about this picture.

I think I have male in the foreground and female in the back ground.
If you really wanna get deep into it I have lots more pics on my photobucket account.
My fear is that I have 2 males. Any help on there care or tricks for breeding them would be appreciated also.

you see how one has a steeper forehead than the other? anything there? I am looking at the shape of the anal fin too. they kinda look to square not round and pretty. At $10 a piece I want a male and a female. I would just take them both back in but I know the stress easily.

Sexing German Blue Rams
Some things I have found out about IDing the gender of males vs. females are;
1) the females have a more of a rounded tail and the male has a 'V' shape with 'sharp' corners on them
2) the males have a elongated 2nd ray in the dorsal fin
3) the males dorasl and anal fins at the back are more pointed then the females
4) the females have more red on their belly compared to the males
5) the obvious, the females are thicker/rounder when mature and able to mate

wow ok. Now that I watch them they are getting along a lot better today. my concern when I first put them in there was because of there distaste for each other. The female(the one with the steep forehead) was dominating. Now they seem to have staked out a nice corner of the tank and seem like they are kind of flirting with each other.

So. does anyone else see my algae problem. Is algae scraping a good decision? What other ideas might you have for my algae. This clown pleco does nothing except hide.

I dunno, they both look male to me. I've found with females, even a slight pink is seen making it evident they are females and is what I usually go by....
the algae, granny's got it right with the scraper
