A jag will outgrow the tank soon. Trade for the FM's. A JD is fine by itself although oscars need a bigger tank.

No a jag will out grow a 55g vey quickly, they need a min of 150g. Oscars grow very quickly as well and need a 75 g tank min.
A pair of firwmouths would work or a jd on his own.

itll be up by friday. and my stocking level on my sig here is WAY off i dont ahve them fish anymore. got rid of my JD that are in my stock and got new ones wen i moved to my uncles. my stocking was wen i was living at my aunts and grandmas in augusta.
the tank size is:
48 inches long 12.5 inches wide and 18 inches tall.

How about leaving the convict pair in the 29, deciding between the JD and the firemouth pair (because I have to agree with people who say a 55 is too small for a full grown oscar, which are most people here and on MFK), or going with something smaller?

I don't mean to be rude, but I think that I and everyone else could help you more if there was a little more coherence in your typing. I'm not trying to be a grammar/language nazi, but I do think it would really help.

A 55g will only fit:
1 pair of firemouths
or
1 JD (and may be 1 con if the jd allows it)

BUT NO OSCARS.

I agree with krytan. Keep the cons in the 29. Get a pair of firemouths for the 55. No oscars, and I would forget the JD as that would probably be the only thing that you could keep in their then...
