Fish not getting on.

It's a sad day today, i tried to put my midas back into my main tank and she just went psycho on my other fish. I moved the decorations around and left them for a while but when i came back she was still beating on my other fish so i moved her back to my QT tank. I have come to the conclusion that i'm going to have to re-home her, i have also decided to re-home my sev as he is starting to get harssed by my other fish.

After i have re-homed these fish it will leave me with 1 oscar, 1 texas, 1 red headed cichlid, 1 JD and three pleco's (L027, L066, L200) in my 180g. Is it possible i could fit a GT in with these fish? Or are there any other fish that would work with my stock?

I think you could, but you will always be taking a chance, with that mix, of someone not getting along.

I think you might be able to add a GT. I also suggest you get some geos and a jack dempsey!

I fell in love with a clown knife while i was in the lfs and just had to come home with him. Hes only 5" long at the moment so i have put him in my 35g to grow a bit.

As Rb said you are taking a big chance with that mix. Cichlids have such varied personalities it is risky.

geos will not do good in that tank as they tend to be unaggresive im pretty sure Krytan said she had a JD in there i say go for the GT if you get a female you should be fine

the clown knife is a really bad idea because you said that your sev was beattin up a clown knife doesnt use its eyes it uses sonic location which means its going to b hard for it to escape the other cichlids

Oh well i just had to have him, after he's out grown the 35g i'll try him in the 180g and if that doesn't work i'll just have to get him his own tank. I'm sure by that time i'll be able to bully my wife into another big tank.
