Hey guys.
My heater is fogged up on the inside of the glass tube (fog covers about the top half) and some small droplets of water are visible inside. The heater is still working fine. The condensation has been there for months, but appears to be slowly getting worse.
Should I replace the filter?
Cheers.

Same here.
Guys... NO heater should have condensation on the inside. This is an indication of water intrusion even if it is slight. You have a leak and it should be fixed or replaced. Please don't tell me it's a Whisper heater from Wa Ma.
This can eventually lead to malfunction. Many heaters use a bimetal spring to make and break the contact for the heater and with water intrusion the metal strip can oxidize and corrode which at best will fail to work and at worst turn on and stay on cooking your fish. Oh yeah... another risk is of electrical shock to you.

Cheers guys, I think I'll replace it then to be on the safe side.
By the way, I meant to say "Should I replace the heater?" in the OP, in case anyone was wondering.

No heater, should have that issue..it is a time bomb waiting to go off.
As Squawk mentioned Visitherm Stealth is a great heater. Or most any submersible is better than those glass hang on the back models.
