Hello,
I have a 30" thin bubble wand in the back of the tank near a Stealth 45 Gal heater a Whisper 30gal filter. I'm sure that it doesn't really effect the function of the heater, unless I'm wrong.
But I notices that some of the bubbles tend to go up into the filter intake and through the impeller, I was just wondering if this was hazardous to the filter, or if it would lower its effectiveness?

Thanks

Try to keep the bubbles out of the intake, the filter will work much better, and it could do harm to the filter.........:)

It could cause the suction of the HOB to stop and run dry...which isn't good. Just get rid of the bubble wand or reposition it if you like the way it looks.
