So I went to my LFS today and there was a tank that was completely overran with MTS. So i asked the owner if he was selling them since there was no sign or if they had just come in on some plants and were pests. He said that no he was not selling them and that they were just pests that had overran that particular tank. I asked if they were just pests if I could have some to put into my tank with my tetras and blue gouramis. The dude then said well people by them for puffer food and I said I thought you said you weren't selling them so he tells me besides your tetras will eat them.
I said that I didn't think my colombian tetras COULD eat them and walked away. I then asked him again if he sold flourish for my plants because I really didn't want to pay shipping like I did on the last bottle, the shipping was more than the product, and he said no he did not sell tetra products. Isn't flourish a seachem product I asked, not the last time I checked he said. So he hands me this bottle of stuff that says for tanks with co2 injections ONLY and says this is the same thing. I told him that I didn't have co2 in my tanks and he said don't worry about it. Now am I wrong in my thinking that if the product specifically states for tanks with co2 ONLY then maybe it should be used in tanks with co2 ONLY. This man must have thought that I am some type of idiot or something. Needless to say I was a little PO'D:angryfire::angryfire::angryfire: I left the store and made my purchases at a chain store nearby.:angryfire: NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I SET FOOT INTO THIS STORE!!!!!!
