Thanks to the gulf stream, tropicals make their way up to new england starting around this time of the year. They die off soon enough as it gets cold so I was planning on getting out this year and collecting what I can.
My question is, is it possible to use sand, water, and rock collected at the beach to start up a tank? As far as cycling etc? Given I keep everything wet during transport?
