Is Flourite safe for Inverts?

Well, I want to buy a large group of Cherry Shrimp or even a Bamboo shrimp and was wondering if my substrate is safe, because copper and other metals are listed on the chemical analysis on the seachem site.

Also would a Cu test kit, be a reliable way to determine if my tank was safe, which btw I have never used a copper treatment either?

I use flourite in my tiger shrimp and blue pearl tanks with no ill effects, they are reproducing lilke mad.

Nice, if you say they're safe, then I'll look into getting some cherries. I think they'll be safe now that that my 80gal has really grow in.

Yes, it safe, i had it run for a year now, no problem..
