i have a 30 gallon planted tank with several tetras and cories. i was thinking of adding 4 honey gouramis (colisa chuna) and one powder blue dwarf gourami (colisa lalia). u think the gouramis will get along? if not, then how about a powder blue dwarf gourami and a female betta?

All of the honeys may get along but I would not add a dwarf gourami personally.

Almost all anabantids have various personalities so it is basically trial and error. A densely planted tank will help minimize aggression.

I would not add a DG with Honeys personally.

i wouldnt put a DG with a female betta either. female bettas can be pretty nasty, but then again so can DG's. you are better off going with one DG or the honeys.

I've oft done well with female bettas and female gouramis together. But I wouldn't recommend it unless you really know what you're doing.

I'd do the honeys. Always nice to have a group of those.
