Pentair Lifegard filtration system?

Has anyone ever used the Pentair Lifegard modules for filtration?

Has anyone heard anything good bad or otherwise about these?

I like the concept of these over a canister filter due to the fact that you add your own pump to them so you can get the proper turnover rate on the water. (Seems like most canisters have around 250-300 gph, where i can attach any gph pump to the Pentair)
