hello!

i want to add a snail- or something similar- to my tank!

my fish would eat any and all shrimp even though it's a friendly set up (my ghost shrimp only lasted 3 days before all 10 just "disappeared".......)

it's a friendly tropical community tank, so no mean tetra eating invertebrates!!

it seems like my only option is some kind of cool snail, but i have a feeling someone on here can give me some better ideas!

thanks!

pomacea bridgesii (mystery snails) would do just fine with your critters.

Is the tank planted? If you have dense areas of planting you could probably do shrimp. I have shrimp with honey gourami, cherry barbs, tetras, and cories and although they are not as visible as they are in a species tank, they are doing well and reproducing readily. You could also try a larger species of shrimp (amano algae eating shrimp are a bit bigger) or a fan filter feeder if you have an area of high flow or decoration below the discharge of the filter where it could go to feed.
