I just built a canister filter but i want to cover up the god awful white pvc with black.I plan on going to home depot later.Any suggestions?

Hi Fishy, I'm kinda interested in your filter. Did you use threaded PVC or just cement the endcaps on?

Just make sure to let it cure at least 24 hours. I had a few spray bars that I only let them dry to the touch, and the paint chipped off. I think this stuff needs a little extra time to really bond well with the surface. Things I've painted and let sit for a few days before putting them in, the paint generally seems to hold up a lot better.

ok will do,
As for the filter i used threaded elbows and wrapped in nylon tape.i just siliconed the endcaps and everything else i could screw together.

Oh and i looked at home depot and they don't sell krylon.So i was thinking fred meyer or a craft store.

are you sure??? cant be krylon is the most popular/common spray paint and for a homedepot to not have it is like an LFS not having fish..

Home Depot doesn't carry Krylon in my area either I would go to Wally worls that is where I pick mine up...
