Hi to all you Marine experts out there,

Hopefully you guys can help me.
One of my clownfish have white stuff around his mouth.. Perhaps mouth fungus is it?
And also, his mouth is pretty much always open now. It won't close.

How do I treat him?

Thanks in advance!

Any chance of a picture before you start putting chemicals in your tank. It could be a number of things and not necessarily an illness. My clown fish often gets a "bruised" mouth from rearranging my rocks and corals which heals on its own.

A picture would really help to identify.

This is the best I can do with the picture.
So basically, his mouth is now usually open like that and has a hard time eating as well.
At first I thought it was just bruised, but he's had it for awhile now. I thought it would go away but it practically spread.

Ouch. Looks like a scrape (or something initially like that) that led to a bacterial infection. I would look for a broad spectrum antibiotic and begin treatment in quarantine. If you can catch it soon enough, the chances of saving it are much higher.
