Hello Tom. I had this exact thought yesterday just never got around to posting the thread. I just wanted to know how many Fish Ppl there was in Arkansas, probaly not many. Well here goes.

Nice to meet you Kim, Wow Quite a small town! you most know everyone. I dont even know many of the people on my street and i bought my house a year ago lol. I think people are friendlier outside of NY.

What size tanks do you have and what do you keep? I only have one (just bought it) 210 MBUNA african cichlid tank.
I guess i should have asked that on the first post.
Also how do you like running your own business? I find much more joy in my internet business as opposed to the day job i am still at right now....

Well Tom, I don't know everybody but I would say alot of them. Most of them are the biggest REDNECKS you could even imagine and the other half is in their elder years. Most ppl around me are pretty friendly though, they can see you out in the yard and they want to stop and see how is your ma and pa doin. LOL.

I have a 55gl with goldfish, columbian ramshorn snails, and a marbled sailfin pleco. Also a 29gl with a marbled angel, young bichir, briggs of different colors, and a few remaining female mollies. And last is my 10gl which I am super excited about today I will be introducing a marbled crayfish into along with guppies. That pretty much sums up all my tanks although I am thinking seriously about redoing my 55 gl.

O and it isn't my business, I just totally run it for a father and son Inc. They don't ever do anything except call and ask everything ok and I say yep and that is all they want. It sucks sometimes b/c I drive an hour to work and an hour home. But there isn't anything that pays well around where I live except a gas station. And I did work like that in High School.

WOW:eek3:

That is alot of tanks! You must have a huge house or something...

At any rate,
My name is James(28 yrs. old) and my wife's name is Christina. We live in Sanford, NC. We are rather new to keeping fish. It's kinda funny that keeping fish for us started with a male betta from Walmart! But now we have a 55g with cichlids, a 10g with a juvie con pair, and (2) 2g tanks-1 with a male betta;1 with a female betta.
I work at UNC Chapel Hill as an electronic tech-no i'm really not working on electronics- I take care of the fire alarms, security alarms, fire sprinkler systems, etc. in the campus buildings. My wife stays at home with our 3 children, and homeschools the oldest.

My name is Maia, I usually tell people that ask my age that I am old enough to vote, but too young to retire :)

interestingly, my favorite drink is the same as Neervana's- vodka with orange and lime. It was better when I lived in Cali with citrus trees in the yard that I could squeeze the juice from, but oh well. A glass up to Neervana!

I live next to Seattle with my 2 little kids that look like cherubs but behave very differently and my big-brained husband who is a computer scientist.

I am an illustrator (artist with a paycheck) and I homeschool my kids.

I have a 3 gallon tank with a couple plants and fish, and a 12 gallon tank with loads of plants and fish. That is all the aquaria I can manage between the demands of all the above but I have aspirations of vivariums with tiny frogs and things.

P.P.

well ill say a bit about who i am

im james scott i live in regina saskatchewan i am 40

own a restaurant in the university of regina , my business partner owns www.matrixgaming.ca (http://www.matrixgaming.ca)

my wife rachelle an i have seven kids josepha grace 11yr aka krazy4coutry, christianna joy 10yr aka cute critters, hebron james 8 yrs, mahalia maranatha 6yrs, caleb christopher 5 yrs, shamus stephen 2 yrs, and gaddiella judith 2 months

basically im just a big kid sorta like the perpetual 12 year old

have many crazy ideas that we are about to do involving pets my wife an i figured that with seven kids and possible future kids that setting up our own zoo would be a good idea cheap social life

there are also 4-5 other businesses that i am starting with our fish store being the first one in process and our old cars being the other what is one of the driving forces for me as a fish enthusiast is the fact that saskatchewan seems to be a place that is forgotten in regards to having a killer fish store so i intend to fix that

now if only i had remembered to get a camera to take pictures of all this stuff

just read msjinks so i thought to list my tanks

33g various tetra, 6 bleekeri, geophagus, gymnogeophagus, red uaru :P
55g african lake tank 10 blue johani, male an female zebra
55g 4 juvi green terror, juvi jd, adult jd, adult convict, pleco
180g empty gettin set up
33g electric yellow tank

70g 11" red devil with some feeder convict
70g 2 adult convicts(made me change my opinion on convicts they look super full grown so i gave them their own tank
55g 3 10-13" columbian sharks, 3 pleco (these came from another tank im pickin up today that i wll have set up shortly so they will be goin into a 90g which i pick up today

the best way for me to get my fish store in the works was to get the tanks used only issue with that is the tanks come with fish sometime hence my variety of fish

empty tanks 3-30g, 20g,

i gave away all my 10g to a lady who needed them since didnt seem to fit my fish room to dedicate a outlet to a 10g

other pets we have 2 chinchilla, 4 degu, 5 finches, 2 love birds, 4 cockatiel, bearded dragon, 2 kittens, wire hair yorkie cross terrier we will be picking up a green check conure an a quaker parrot this weekend

Eh, what the heck, I'll join the fray...

I'm actually a Matthew

I'm 36. This is the age when everything falls apart like a cheap toy, but you don't get the compensating wisdom that comes with age yet.

I'm a chef/kitchen manager for a strip club.

Charlotte, North Carolina. The sweaty upper lip of southern banking.

tanks
10 gal shrimp test tank
30 gal guppy/endler otto habitat
30 gal shrimp tank in construction
30 gal QT w/Rhino Plecos
50 gal with about 45 HRP fry growing out..anyone wanna buy a honduran?
55 gal QT w/Papa Panaques and Goldie Plecos
120 gal w/sevs, bichirs and a very hungry BGK
150 gal w/common plec, more sevs, black skirt tetras, HRP, royal, bristlenose and even a little rubberlip

My hobbies include wildflower photography, motorcycling, and being an evil overlord.
