filter impeller

does anyone know where i can get an impeller for a hartz crystal clean III? i dont need the motor, just the impeller. i put an old impeller from a different filter in, and it works, but the blades are wider, and they're hitting on the plastic and making alot of noise. any help would be appreciated.

Could be a tough one. I'd search the web for hatz products, find their website, and inquire there.

Otherwise, HOB filters are pretty inexpensive especially when ordering online.

If you ebay, they sometimes have those filters for sale pretty cheap. I agree that finding an impeller for this brand may be difficult. However, you may try taking your impeller to a good LFS and seeing if they can find an impeller from a different brand that is the same size, shape, etc. that you could try in you filter.
