so duke is sending me some plants

this will be my first planted tank:D

there all going in my 55, and some of the java moss is going in my 50

hornwort, riccia are two of the pants he is sending me, i have 52watts of light in my 55

this will be enough right? and do i need fertilizer? or co2?
 
You need a lot more light. Some of those MAY grow if you float them next to the light.
 
That will be enough light for low light plants. You will need to fertilize and no you wont need CO2.

4 zebras
1 neon
3 clown loaches
3 Harlequin Rasbora
1 common plec thats 8inches big, that my gf refusing to get rid of
1 glass fish
 
I would just replace the hood with a 4 foot shop light with 2 T-12 lights attached. It may be a little bit higher, but the plants will appreciate the extra WPGs to about 1.6 WPG.
