Does hypo salinity kill LR

I have a few fish that are showing some signs of ick. I was looking at dropping the salt level to about 1.09 and raise the temp to 90 degrees. Would this kill the LR?

more than likely yes. the hypo will work for the fish. the key is you have to drop the sg down within a 12 hour period i believe....otherwise the ick will adjust to the lower salinty which defeats the whole purpose of a hypo. you should keep it at 1.009 for 6 weeks. you can than start to raise the sg back up by .002 every 24 hours. if you don't have a qt tank then put your lr into a plastic tote with water from your tank and a heater and powerhead. this will keep your lr live.
