Hi, here are some local catches we get at the canals near our house. (ruben tolon and me da woofy ) :) The red devil/midas? was around 6-7" , the mayan was about 10-11". I also caught a managuense that was 13" but not pictured. Today we cuaught another managuense but its alot small at 5-6" and is in our tank right now. pics of that one coming coon. Stay posted, i will update with more of our wild caughts every so often :)

Today we caught a 6-7" managuense and like 50 jewel cichlid fry. :D

Nice non-native Florida fish!
There are a blast to catch, and some eat them.
I've heard they taste great, but haven't tried them.
The "peacock bass" also have great colorings...

The peacocks just refuse to bite anything we through at them. And there are tons! U can see them all sizes from 1-10 at once but they dont take anything. Dem fish got smart :D

they actually have those at Big ALS in pembroke pines, FL :D:D
