man i keep finding all these new and cool looking shrimps, but i don;t know anything about them....or should i get them at all....

White back Shrimp:

does anyone have any experience with this type of shrimp?

Sulawesi shrimp.... like soft high ph water. lots of die off all wild.

right on....plus, i would try to keep it, if they aren't that expensive. 100 bucks for 5? Crazy!! Totally not worth the try.

they are wild caught. wild caught is always harder then captive breed. plus their water is odd being soft with a high ph. they are also very small. its best they get into the hands of breeders are this rate they will stripe the lake clean of them.

There is a high die-off rate from shipping as well. With new shrimp like most of hte sulawesi's, i recommend most hobbyists to wait getting them until they are a bit more proven. That is alot of money to spend and potentially be disappointed. There have also been some significan reports of customer service issues from that site recently so be aware of that as well.
