Lovely tank and fish! Nice job on the redo. Your son is a handsome boy!
Nice rescape. Looking more natural. Just make sure the fish dont knock down that slate, some looks like its holding by a thread..

I like the scape. And I love how curious your son is with his nose pressed up against the tank. Too cute!

Do you silicone your slate together or is it just balanced like that? I want to do slate in my new tank but I live in earthquake country and don't want to risk an landslide.

I appreciate all of the kind comments.

Believe it or not, the slate structure is pretty solid. I did my best to shake any rocks loose, but none fell.

No I did not silicone the slate together, but I do understand about earthquakes-I grew up near Monterey,CA.

Pretty tank - nice work. I'm terrified of the rockwork though.

A great improvement...but like others, I worry about the stability of the rocks.

Nice tank! I'm surprised the Africans haven't eaten the anacharis already. I'd be worried about the CAE though.

thank you for the background compliment-
Nice Rocks and fish. I'd change the background to a solid color you tanks contents will stand out more.
Reddog80p had given me advice about changing it out the first time I posted pics of the 55g

Excellent job! I like the rescape, a bit different then the norm. I agree about the background too, soild backgrounds make everything else more defined & noticable.
