Though I prefer Islay single-malts, JD is the finest American whiskey, and a perfect way to end the day. *hic*
 
I heard the well or spring they get their water from is going dry and once there is none left, they are going to stop making JD as they say it just wouldnt be JD anymore without that water source, anybody know if there is any truth to this rumor??
 
no truth to the rumor at all. like all caves, water is dependent on rain. The flow is slower this year (still a drought in the area), but it wouldn't take much rain to fill the cave back up. They still don't know he source of the water in the cave though........

Saw that on History Channel, they just found out its a bunch of Hillbillies "answering to the call of nature" higher up in the foothills.
