I have a question (obviously). This is kind of hard to capture all of my frustration and rejection in words. Does anybody live in a situation, rather it be in school, work, or at home, where you are made fun of or rejected because of your love for animals or fish? It may just be me but whenever I'm at school I something really exciting happens like getting a new fish or pet and I tell my "friends" they just kind of get this look on their face like "Why are you even telling me this freak? Its not like anybody actually cares!" Sometimes people actually just stop and look and me and say "Nobody cares!" Even my close friends will tell me to stop thinking about animals so much. *Sigh* And my family hates animals. ALL of them. And I don't mean just my imediate family. They gave all my dogs away, rejoiced when my hamsters died, and think fish are gross and ugly. Am I the only person out there who went through this? Sorry for such a random post but I think about it a lot.
Does it ever stop? I'm not posting this just to tell a sob story. I really want to know if anyone is going or went through something like this. It gets to be where my only friends are my animals.
