Can anyone recommend one brand of phosphate remover. The 4 I'm choosing between are Phos-Guard, PhosZorb, Phosphate Sponge (Kent Marine) and PhosBan. Is there any difference? I'm going to be using it in my Fluval 404, I've heard some may release Phosphate if left in the filter too long, is there truth to this.

Rowaphos seems to be the best and most widely used this side of the world

Corax and I are using Phos-zorb right now in an effort to get rid of green hair algae. I am showing good results after three weeks of use.

I am using Phosban and it is working well for me. I am just trying to get rid of some hair algea. This stuff and turning the light on a shorter cycle has really cleared up my 60. gal.
