ive seen some really beautiful pictures of windelev fern that is almost like a lime green. but my windelev is dark green but very healthy. the problem is that it is getting black markings and there seems to be something growing on it. this something looks like some kind of algae, but it is thick and looks like bushy roots. im growing it in flourite with 3wpg.
im afraid ill get the same markings on my red java fern, which is one of my favorite plants. are the black markings sign of lack or excess of nutrients. what do i need to do thanks.
