heya guys im new and wonderin what fish i could put in a 20 gallon german blue ram tank? i was thinkin 6 zebra danios and a female albino beta would that work or not? thx!

i would skip the betta and reconsider the danios. bettas and rams really dont mix well, and zebra danios will quickly outcompete rams for food. neon, cardinal, lemon, or glolite tetras are much better choices.

i had a betta and a GBR together and it wasn't a good situation. the betta flared and flared again at the GBR. i like the idea of the tetras. they would go well with the colors of the GBR.

Danios are too active, go with the tetras as suggested above.

I have danios and rams without problems. My ram usually swims up to the surface for food and gets enough or I drop in a sinking pellet and he goes to town on that.

ahh ok. mabye move my neons and black neons in with them(7 of each) and stock my 30 gallon with lemons and corys?

i decided im gonna stock my 20 gallon with neons and corys and platys
so about:
10 neons
5 aeneas corys
5 platys
1 female betta

and my 30 gallon GBR tank:

1 pair of GBR's
10 lemon tetras
4 black neon tetras

would this work or are the stocks a bit high?

I would skip the black neons on the 30 and get a group of 6-8 of a different species of corys or a group of smaller loaches (i.e. kuhli, sids, etc.)

I think you are fine on your selections. As to whether or not too many - I feel it is ok but it depends on filter sizes and your maintenance habits.
