View Full Version : Large White Spots
Hi. I'm new to the forum and I am hoping someone can help me. My platys have large white spots on their bodies. I am talking about one large spot. It is actually eating into their skin where you can see meat. I have quarantined them from the rest of my fish and have medicated them both for fungus and parasites. They have been quarantined about 3 weeks now. the spots do not seem to be growing anymore which is good and I have not lost any lately. So does anyone know what this is and will their skin or scales grow back?

Welcome to AC! I suggest you start a thread in the general freshwater forums so you will get more responses. Give as much detail about your tank as you can, including test results for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates. Keep up on the water changes also.
