Okay, I finally got some pics... mind you, they're not very good, and I still have to do a major overhaul on the scaping, but here it is as it looks now!
I've also included pics of the german blue ram and dwarf marbled catfish! I'm moving at the end of the month and plan to rescape it then. Any thoughts would be most appreciated!

im getting blue rams like yours,your tank is so simple and yet very beauitful,love it and your fish as well.

nice catfish. Ive had one like that for years. Though, it was labeled as a dwarf bumblebee cat...

Thanks for the kind words and suggestions. I'll post another pic after I get a background later today.
Rbishop: sorry, but the skull is kind of a running theme for me.. and the catfish seems to love hiding out in it, so I can't bring myself to get rid of it!

Looks nice, i agree on the background but i like the simplicity of the tank.

i'm not one for backgrounds!!! Live plants are wayyyy better! I think a background is a cop out on the beauty that already exists within the tank... I think it's great as it is!
i like it. the human skull is cool!

Looks like it's two for, two against the skull. :huh:
But my family has english pirates in our family tree, so skulls have kind of become a theme for me... I can't take it out.:silly:

I'm still looking for more plants to add... especially a carpet of some kind, but the lfs's around here are tapped out. Any suggestions on what else to add? Keep in mind it's a low-tech set up and I plan to keep it that way.
