I have 4 little nerites....such cute little critters!
I also have little white things stuck to the driftwood and some plants in my tank and have searched online for a picture of their eggs. What I have matched what I saw online. They won't mature as they only develop in brackish water as I understand. Should I try to remove them?

I believe they need brackish/salt water to reproduce do if they are in freshwater then I would remove them because they will go bad and foul up the water. But, you can try leaving them in there for a little while and see if any of your fish eat them.

I leave them and they don't foul up my water at all. If its convenient to me, like when they are laid onthe glass, I scrape them off during regular maintenance.

We've had nerite eggs on our driftwood for months now. I've tried scrubing them off but have now given up trying, the darn thing just won't come off.

LOL. I myself have just recently run into this also. I bought 4 olives and I knew that they could only reproduce in sw/brackish, well when I seen these little white pin head dots all over the place I FREAKED. Only to realize "no worrys". They are extremely hard to get off of soft stuff, like driftwood and plants, but the glass is easy, do it just like algae.

ok, thanks. I knew they couldn't successfully reproduce in FW. I'll just leave them and get them as best as possible when I clean.

They'll dissapear after a while. They will stop laying eggs when the algae(food) supply starts to decrease
