A short while back I modified my stand (55g) so I could add a sump. About a week later for no reason what so ever I got a feeling something was just not right. I cannot say where this came from but it settled in my gut and caused me to act. I split the contents of the 55 into a 29 and a 20 and started tearing it down(try explaining that to your wife when you have no basis) and guess what I found....a big nasty spot, probably 10 by 20 inches, of mold!!! Luckily it had just formed and that little green machine pulled it right out of the carpet. Imagine the mess and damage had I not listened to my gut.
I just thought I would throw that out there to....LISTEN TO YOUR GUT!! unless it is telling you to eat half a box of cupcakes a night like I do, then ignore it that time.
