I'm planning on getting a few blue rams, but i need help on how to set up a soft water, planted tank.I might be using a 20 or 10g,so i need help on plants.Well anarchis, java moss, anubuis, and amazon swords with driftwoods help the water soft for my rams???

Best bet, dilute your tap with R/O or distilled. Peat and driftwood will, but it takes awhile and water changes negate their effects.

But Rams will acclimate to harder alkaline water, unless your trying to breed them. Your plant choices will work, the Sword might be iffy, depending on your lighting strength.

A 10 gallon will be too small for a pair of rams. Normally a 29 is recommended but a 20 should work.

I'd suggest a 20 long or a 29. What is the GH of your water?

I have 1 ram in a 20 long with a school of rasboras and some kuhlis. He has gotten along great with all the stock and acclimated very well. As long as the tank is established and you acclimate them properly, I don't see where you'd have an issue. IME they are hardy fish and will eat a wide variety of foods.
