I saw my blue paying a lot of attention to her a few days ago then this morning I see her way up out of the water at the rim so I open lid and peek over and sure enough....Eggs! :omg:

I am so excited. I am going to leave them this first time and see how many I get naturally. It's my 55 gallon community tank with mollies, guppies and platies. :dance2:

congrates, be carefull when they hatch as the mollies might pick them off and have a snack.

try looking at the sticky at the top of the forum.

Also be prepared for the potential of anywhere for 50-200 baby snails! Before you hatch them, you might call around to LFS to see if they would be willing to take any and what size they would need to be. That many snails is a serious change to the bioload and can make it difficult to keep up with the inevitable maintenance needed. Most importantly, Congrats!

hehe already read the sticky and talked to one of my lfs and they will take them when they get marble size. It is a small clutch, looks like about 50ish. They are so interesting to watch.

That is great news! Enjoy the process! I find it easiest if when they hatch, they are put into a breeder trap until about pea-sized. This makes it easy to keep up on tank maintenance, easy to monitor their size, quantity, and eating habits. Best of luck and let us know if you have any questions at all!
